A new challenge appeared on the TikTok app called ‘Invisible Challenge’. Participants filmed themselves naked and with the filter used in the challenge the body appears blurry,
In return, pirates put out a “filter” that they claimed would remove the effect of hiding the body, used in the challenge. In fact, malware is proven capable of stealing bank accounts kept in browsers, Discord app accounts, and files on the victim’s device.
Pirates promoted their trick through video clips on “TikTok,” viewed more than a million times, and their servers on the Discord app garnered about 30 thousand members.
We are advised to caution against attacks that use trolling/social engineering to solicit victims, and to install applications only from their official sources.
