Google has issued security updates to fix a vulnerability in Chrome browser, a vulnerability type is “Zero-day”, and tracked as CVE-2022-4135. Users are advised to update to versions: 107.0.5304.121 for Mac and Linux operating systems, and 107.0.5304.121/122 for Windows .

Zero-day” is a broad term that describes recently discovered security vulnerabilities that hackers can use to attack systems. The term “zero-day” refers to the fact that the vendor or developer has only just learned of the flaw – which means they have “zero days” to fix it

update Method:

  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Select About
  3. On the About page you will find the version number, and in Windows systems the browser can be updated from this page.
  4. For other systems: update from the app store.

We also recommend using the Firefox browser as the main browser for core functions, and when needed using the Chrome browser as a secondary browser for any sub-functions which you may need another browser.
